There are times when we feel completely lost. Sometimes, it feels like we’re not even connected to God anymore. We might be run down with “more important” things to do. However, we don’t realize that when we hit rock bottom in life, we can always turn to Him. God will give us strength to whatever we desire. As God’s children, we must treausre what He has given us. We are never truly alone in this lonely world because we will always have God.

We must stand up tall and face the world with God at our side.

Never Give Up

Sometimes, we feel like giving up. Giving up is the easy way out of a problem. We need to remember to never give up in everything we do no matter how difficult it may seem. If Jesus were to give up on the cross, where would we be now??? Jesus came through with God’s plan and what was the reward? It was redemption for all His people. How would Jesus feel if we gave up on our goals and dreams? We should come through with whatever promise we make to ourselves just as Jesus came through with his purpose on Earth.

It is the season of Lent once again. During this time, we are encouraged to focus on prayer and devotion about what our Lord has done for us. What will you choose to dedicate yourself to this year? We are not to dedicate ourselves for our own personal desires. We are to dedicate our committment to the Lord, not as repayment, but as a symbol of respect for what He has done for us.

Everyday we worry endlessly about tomorrow.

What will we wear tomorrow?

What are we going to eat tomorrow?

Are there any major events tomorrow?

However, whatever that happens is not decided by us. But we will never know if God decides for our lives to take a different path intsead. Why are we always so obsessed with tomorrow when we aren’t even certain of how today will end??

Christmas Spirit?

Every year, we go through the same pattern during Christmas time. We worry about gifts to loved ones, having family parties, deciding where to go for during the break, and many other issues. As a child, Christmas was probably the best holiday in the world to me. But as time passed by, it seemed as if there were so many other things to worry about. Christmas is about the coming of Jesus Christ. It seems as though that the Jesus story is “getting old”, but it never will. If Christ were not born, then no one would have been able to redeem the world. Even though the Christmas spirit is dying out as time passes by, we must remember the true meaning of Christmas. It is not the holiday of partying or a day that is meant to publicize santa. Christmas is Jesus’s birthday, and knowing that He came into the world for us. Just as God loved us, we should give the gift of God to people around us.

God is God. He knows every single little detail of every organism he created. He is also our comforter, friend, brother, and Father.

God always answers prayer even though sometimes it feels like He’s not listening. As humans, we always think that our prayers HAVE to be answered with a “yes.” However, God can always answer a prayer with a “no” or a “maybe”. We’ve all heard “Ask and it shall be given unto you. Seek and ye shall find”, but it doesn’t mean we can just sit around asking God to grant wishes like a genie or fairy.

In order for what we ask to be given to us, we must work for it. Without work, we can not do anything. We can ask God to help us achieve our dreams by asking Him for strength, wisdom, confidence, and forgiveness.

Every single day of our lives we worry.

We always worry about everything in our lives, from what we’re going to eat for lunch, to what clothes we’re gonna wear in 2 weeks. But, has it ever occured to us that we dont’ know what’s going to happen tomorrow? Of course we can predict, but there is no telling if anything out of what we call “ordinary” could occur. When we say “See you later” or “See you tomorrow” how can we be sure that it’s going to happen? Why so sure on what will happen tomorrow and why is it that tomorrow is all we worry about? If birds have no problem whatsoever with their means of survival because God provides for their every need, why should we worry so much about our needs? We must trust in God because he himself has promised that he would provide for every need. We are not capable of fully supporting ourselves on Earth, it is with the help of God we are able to truly succeed.
